Trish, Andrew, and Coco could have made deals with each other, but viewed each other as potential competitors down the line. David on the other hand they had pegged as the next one to be bounced. So he was the least threatening/most desirable trade partner. Am I close? :)
I think it was mainly good timing on David’s part. At first, people were wary with their tokens. Eventually, they settled into a routine.
I’m curious to see the fallout from his betrayal! Mainly, though, I’m just happy that a system I put in place back in October finally started paying off.
