WWBtB: Sam is Down with the Thickness!
Round 3 Confessional
Sam was already not quite used to her hair being long (though not technically as long as depicted ;P) but after the last round of changes, she suddenly found herself with super platinum blonde hair. Not to mention her hips and tits have grown considerably since her last Confessional. Though, she doesn’t seem to mind (perhaps she’s starting to get into the competition a bit more?)

Anonymous asked: Let me take a stab at why David's betrayal worked (assuming, of course, that it wasn’t arranged behind the scenes by contestants or executives – which is always a possibility with Reality TV drama :P). Trish, Andrew, and Coco could have made deals with each other, but viewed each other as potential competitors down the line. David on the other hand they had pegged as the next one to be bounced. So he was the least threatening/most desirable trade partner. Am I close? :)
I think it was mainly good timing on David’s part. At first, people were wary with their tokens. Eventually, they settled into a routine.
I’m curious to see the fallout from his betrayal! Mainly, though, I’m just happy that a system I put in place back in October finally started paying off.

Anonymous asked: When the voting is finished and the winners announced, will the new-bimbos-in-old-routines scenes be illustrated? Because that would be awesome :)
That is absolutely the plan!
Anonymous asked: How long does the average WWBtB comic take to create?

It varies a lot!
Some pages I pop out in a day, other take much longer. Besides length, it also depends on the amount of back-and-forth with the players. Some challenges are like working on multiple commissions simultaneously: I have to share my sketches with them, get feedback, make changes and so on.
I’m still looking for the perfect balance between highlighting fun interactions between the cast and keeping my workload manageable. Haven’t been too happy with the art whenever I’ve had to rush a page.
An advantage of the show’s format is that, as the number of players gets smaller, I’ll have more time to highlight fun interactions leading up to the grand finale.
I’m excited to share the next page, where we finally get to see some mental changes. I enjoyed drawing the players doing bimbo things, instead of just standing around. If you haven’t voted, yet, the last 4 players are all within 2 votes of each other!
Mental changes revealed! Karen is out! Had a lot of fun drawing this page!

Anonymous asked: Have you been surprised at any of the voting outcomes so far?
Great question!
Yes and no. While no result has shocked me outright, I’m often surprised at how close they are: many have been determined by only a couple of votes!
That said, I honestly did not foresee Sam winning the Photo challenge. I suspect the results would have been different if the entries were anonymous and text-free. I definitely think David and Andrew’s entries deserved more recognition.
Anonymous asked: So, any lessons from the results of the mental poll? :)
People really liked Karen!
I had a lot of fun drawing the mental changes page. Rounds where people vote on my illustrations are stressful: I worry about making all my drawings equally compelling. I don’t want anyone to lose because my anatomy or lighting was off. Being free of that stress felt awesome!
I’d like to find more ways to draw the characters actually doing stuff instead of standing around and posing, I’m just not sure how that would work without resorting to challenges that are basically “write a sentence”.
